يا أمتى

استيقظي يا أمتي من قبل أن تتمزقي Wake up my Ummah before you torn apart من قبل أن تتشتت في ظلمة الدرب الشقي Before you stampede in the darkness of the unhappy path فلتنظري، فلتنظري So see, see كل الشعوب توحدت إلا أنا All peoples united except me كل الجهود تكاثفت إلا أنا All the efforts intensified except me أنا الذي أدمى أنا I am who I bleed I am أنا الذي أسبى أنا I am who is captured I am يا أمتي يا أمتي استيقظي Oh my Ummah, my Ummah wake up ذكراك يا علم الهدى جاءت وهذه أمتي Your memory which is inform of the right way came and this is my Ummah تبكي على أمجادها تمضي بغير رسالة It cries about its glories أعداؤها يخططون، يدبرون، يتآمرون Its enemies are planning, plotting, conspiring يا أمتي Oh my Ummah ودائما نقول كنا – ودائما نقول كنا And we always say "we were" يا أمتي نريد أن نكون My Ummah we want to be يا أمتي يا أمتي My Ummah My Ummah عذرا رسول الله عن مسراك غفلت أمتي Sorry prophet of Allah, my Ummah missed out on your way غفلت عن المعنى من الذكرى وهذه أدلتي It missed out on the meaning of the memory and these are my evidences أبناؤها يهللون ويلعبون ويمرحون يا أمتي Its children are acclaiming, playing, and curveting ودائما نقول كنا – ودائما نقول كنا And we always we say "we were" يا أمتي نريد أن نكون يا أمتي يا أمتي Oh my Ummah we want to be, my Ummah أجدادنا صنعوا الحياة Our ancestors made the life وألهموا الكون الضياء And they gave the world the light وآه منا نحن آه، آه منا نحن آه So moan with us moan ودائما نقول كنا – ودائما نقول كنا And we always say "we were" يا أمتي نريد أن نكون يا أمتي My Ummah we want to be يا ربنا يا ربنا Oh our Lord استجب لنا Comply from us
